The training is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which also include a simulated launch countdown and familiarization with the payload. Other crew members taking part are the STS-105 crew, Commander Scott Horowitz, Pilot Rick Sturckow, Mission Specialists Daniel Barry and Patrick Forrester, and the rest of Expedition Three, Commander Frank Culbertson and Mikhail Tyurin.
