Description During the Wet Countdown Demonstration Test (WCDDT), the rotating service structure (RSS) is placed in the park position on Kennedy Space Center (KSC) launch complex (LC) pad 39B. During the WCDDT, Discovery's, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 103, external tank (ET) is filled with its flight load of a half-million gallons of cryogenic propellants at the T minus 6 (T-6) hour mark in the countdown.
