JSC2003-E-59063 (14 October 2003) --- The Expedition 8 prime and backup crews for this Saturday's launch of a Soyuz TMA-3 vehicle to the International Space Station (ISS) participate in the traditional flag-raising ceremony outside the Cosmonaut Hotel. From the left are cosmonaut Valery I. Tokarev, backup Soyuz commander; backup European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Andre Kuipers of the Netherlands; prime ESA astronaut Pedro Duque of Spain; cosmonaut Alexander Y. Kaleri, prime Soyuz commander and flight engineer; astronaut C. Michael Foale, mission commander and NASA ISS science officer; and astronaut William S. (Bill) McArthur, Jr., backup mission commander and NASA ISS science officer. Kaleri and Tokarev represent Rosaviakosmos.
