Description:
|
With sustained winds near 64 km per hour (40 mph), Tropical Cyclone Graham (20S) is located approximately 200 miles northeast of Port Hedland and is drifting southeastward at 6 km per hour (3 mph). This true-color image of the storm was acquired on February 28, 2003, by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard NASA's Terra satellite. The high-resolution image available here is 500 meters per pixel. Visit the MOD IS Rapid Response Team, for a copy of this scene at MODIS' full resolution of 250 meters per pixel.
