As can be seen in this true-color scene acquired on March 13, 2002, there were many fires burning across Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia on March 13, 2002, filling the skies with smoke across much of the landscape. This image was acquired by the Mod erate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), flying aboard NASA?s Ter ra satellite.
