Title:
A Double Conjunction Eclipse
Explanation:
The crescent Moon [ http://www.seds.org…], Venus [ http://www.hawastso…], and Jupiter [ http://pds.jpl.nasa…] all appeared together in the early morning hours of April 23rd. Some locations on Earth [ http://ceps.nasm.ed…] were able to witness [ http://www.staigerl…] a rare double conjunction [ http://www.oregano.…] eclipse, where the Moon [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] occulted both Jupiter [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] and Venus [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] at the same time. The next [ http://www.skypub.c…] double conjunction eclipse [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] will involve Mercury [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] and Mars [ http://www.seds.org…] and will occur on February 13, 2056.
