Title:
Nearby Spiral M33
Explanation:
Spiral galaxy [ http://www.seds.org…] M33 is a mid-sized member of our Local Group of Galaxies [ http://www.seds.org…]. M33 [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] is also called the Triangulum Galaxy [ http://www.seds.org…] for the constellation [ http://www.astro.wi…] in which it resides. About four times smaller (in radius) than our Milky Way Galaxy [ http://www.star.le.…] and the Andromeda Galaxy [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] (M31), it is much larger than the many of the local dwarf spheroidal [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] galaxies. M33 [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…]'s proximity to M31 [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] causes it to be thought by some to be a satellite galaxy of this more massive galaxy. M33 [ http://coolcosmos.i…]'s proximity to our Milky Way Galaxy [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…] causes it to appear more than twice the angular size of the Full Moon [ http://antwrp.gsfc.…], and be visible with a good pair of binoculars.
